I already have the Lanshan 2 and bought this Taiji 1 to have a small but extra stable tent for the Scottish Highlands.
It travelled with me on the West Highland Way and was easy to set up. And though small, it is roomy enough to have had my backpack in my tent most of the time.
I have to add that the tension on the tent fly was not always 100% evenly distributed, and I could not find out why or fix that. With heavy rain, this caused some water to gather on the top of the tent. But as it didn’t leak, it was not a problem.
On the very wet days with little wind, it did have condensation on the inside, but when it poured all night combined with stronger winds, it stayed completely dry on the inside.

**Taihang 2 Tent Review – 5-Day Camp in UK Weather Near Alton Towers**

I recently had the chance to test out the Taihang 2 tunnel tent during a 5-day camping trip in a field near Alton Towers, UK. The weather was unpredictable, with wind and occasional rain, but the tent held up remarkably well.

The Taihang 2 is a fantastic tent, particularly suited for one person with gear, but it can accommodate two if you’re willing to squeeze a bit. The vestibule space is a highlight, offering enough room for bags and cooking gear, which is always a bonus when you’re camping for an extended period. However, if you’re used to a bit more space, the room inside might feel a little tight with two campers.

The tent performed admirably in the wind, and I was pleased to see that all seams are taped, which added an extra layer of reassurance for waterproofing. It stayed sturdy and weatherproof throughout the trip.

There are a couple of minor things I’d change. The pegs could be upgraded as they felt a bit flimsy for tougher conditions. Also, I would love to see two light hooks, one for each end of the tent, for better interior lighting organization. It would be a small but welcome addition. Another suggestion is adding a larger pocket or a second pocket on the other side, as the storage space was a bit limited for keeping smaller items organized.

Despite these minor tweaks, the overall build quality and performance of the Taihang 2 was top-notch. It’s a well-made, reliable tent that can handle challenging weather conditions with ease. I’m already considering purchasing more from 3FUL Gear, as this experience was so positive.

Rating: 5 stars – Highly recommended for solo campers or couples who don’t mind a snug fit and want a reliable, durable shelter.

What more is there to be said with the lanshan, opted for khaki 4season. What good quality product with an excellent stuff sack. Delivered early hours and up mountains for the evening with it.

Very happy with this tent! Ordered this in December, but only recently had a chance to try this tent at a warmer destination, traveling there by air . The tent was lighter than most of the other things packed in the bag 🙂 Also very happy with the ease of assembly/disassembly. Most importantly – performance-wise this tent was outstanding. Very good ventilation. Overall buying process was smooth, too – the item arrived faster than expected, and was vey well-packaged. The cost of this tent is very fair for the quality. Thank you 3FulGear for a great product.

This is an awesome tent and equally awesome company. I ordered a tent from Amazon thinking it was a 3f UL tent. When it arrived I discovered it was not and sent it back and ordered one directly from their website. When they heard this, they went out of their way to expedite the shipping to get the tent to me for before I had to leave for my trip. The tent is outstanding. Professional quality, extremely durable and lightweight. We had pouring rain and heavy wind. I was completely dry as was all my gear. The tent held up to the wind with no problems. Excellent experience all around.

WOW. Very nice tent. The materials are very tough and light. The dimensions in the specifications were spot on. I set it up the first time in about 15 minutes with no problems. Today I timed how long it took to set up and take down. About 8 minutes for each. I wasn’t hurrying either. I’m completely happy with this tent and can’t wait to take it hiking. It was easy to order and shipped fast. The company communicated well, and best of all it showed up early. The only thing I can remotely complain about is the stuff sack for it. Its super tight. It’s also very high quality. You can get the tent back in it but it’s a lot of work. I didn’t reduce my rating of the tent over it because it’s such a nice stuff sack and so easy to get an alternative sack for the tent. I’ll just use it for something else in my pack.

This tent is just excellent. I was surprised how good the quality is. Very light and fast setup. I can fit all my gear inside which is great. Ventilation is relatively good also.

Only thing that I would change is the length of the tent. I’m 185cm and the length is a bit too short. My legs (or head) is hitting the wall and because of single wall structure, my sleeping bag foot end is a bit wet in the morning. Otherwise condensation is not a problem and it can be wiped off easily.
